We Fear The Dark

We fear the dark,
the shelter of the unknown,
uncomfortable outside of the familiar.
Drawing a thick line,
a quick connecting of dots,
when our future in any way seems unclear.
But only in change,
only by dancing with chaos,
can we add to ourselves anything new.
Only pushing through fear,
and accepting unknown risks,
will show you everything that can be you.
